Pepper partnered with Advocate Christ Medical Center (ACMC) to continue their campus master planning efforts with the expansion of their Adult Emergency Department, completed under their first interior renovation IPD contract. The six-phase renovation on the hospital’s first floor includes relocations of patient access, Endoscopy and Heart Procedure Center Prep and Recovery. The expansion and renovation doubles the overall square footage of this Level 1 Trauma Center including 45 private exam rooms, 10 resuscitation exam rooms, six behavioral health exam rooms, eight fast-track and two new X-ray rooms, along with numerous other staff support spaces focusing on improving patient outcomes and reducing wait times in support of the community. .
