Pepper Ohio, a subsidiary of Pepper Construction Group, provides construction management, general contracting, design-build and self-perform services for projects ranging from $10,000 to $750 million. With in-house pre-construction, safety, quality, lean, virtual construction, MEP and self-perform departments, we offer the full range of services delivered through a local, hands-on approach.
We realize that every project begins with a vision, and we work with our clients to help that vision take shape, leaving each place we work and each client we serve better than before we started. We go beyond looking out for our own interests to ensure the needs of everyone we work with are met. It is a pledge that has strengthened our partnerships over the past decade, and it will continue to be one of our strongest traits in the future.
Our commitment to partnership and service extends beyond our projects. Throughout Ohio, our employees are partnering with organizations like Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, Mid-Ohio Foodbank, Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America – Simon Kenton Council, and the Little Miami Conservancy to make a difference in the lives of everyone in our community.

History
Though we have been serving Ohio communities for more than thirty years, Pepper Construction established its first Ohio office in 2006. Now with offices in both Columbus and Cincinnati, we have completed more than 12 million square feet of industrial, manufacturing, workplace, healthcare, retail, education, hospitality, entertainment, civic and cultural projects. Pepper's success is attributed to the dedication of our people, the partnerships that we have established and the passion that each and every one of us has to leave each place we work and each client we serve better than before we started.
Culture
Pepper takes building personally. We start with a solid foundation - our people - which is why we are ranked as one of the Best Places to Work. Pepper creates leaders at every level by rewarding new thinking and respecting the values that have made our company unique for generations. We realize that the better you are, the better we are as a company, so we invest in professional development for all of our employees.
Giving back to the communities in which we live, work and serve is also fundamental aspect of our culture. Through educational and environmental efforts, we focus on improving the health of our communities. Pepper is committed to community involvement and encourages its employees to be equally involved.
Community Engagement
Ohio has given us many opportunities, and we believe it is our duty to be stewards of generosity in return. As we made Ohio our home, we quickly got involved with Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, a nonprofit organization dedicated to "educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs." Over the years, our relationships grew to include organizations such as the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America – Simon Kenton Council, and the Little Miami Conservancy.
Many of our employees are also involved in individual volunteer opportunities such as teaching in various classroom settings, volunteering for local Police departments and churches, and holding board positions for several non-profit organizations. No matter what community involvement it may be, Pepper is fully committed to bettering its local and surrounding communities through empowering each and every member of the Pepper family to make a difference.
