Building Performance Tool
Fine-tuning a building’s performance improves people’s work — and their lives.
People spend about 90 percent of their time indoors. From the building products that surround them to the amount and temperature of available light, there’s a symbiotic relationship from conception to facility management. By considering these factors early during construction, we can drastically improve the lives of a building's occupants.
As a leading voice for sustainability, Pepper has a 30-year track record of fresh thinking in the green building practice. We’re vigilant about not only the lifespan of a building, but also the health and wellbeing of its occupants. That belief has led us to a wide range of thought-provoking work, including development of the Building Performance Tool which combines best practices from architecture, construction and the biosciences to quickly analyze the ROI of design and constructability approaches.
The tool calculates more than 43,000 data points per second, enabling dynamic conversation and comparative planning for a building’s design. It analyzes more than 40 building components across six systems such as roofing, MEPs and enclosures.
