When National Louis University (NLU) acquired Chicago's Kendall College, Pepper Construction was selected to manage the re-modelling process of the college's new location in an existing building near NLU's campus. While the first educational culinary endeavor Pepper has embarked on, previous project experience with interior renovation allowed Pepper to transform the previous empty NLU spaces into advanced culinary facilities. With a total of 21,100 S.F. split amongst the first and seventh floors, these levels now accommodate five teaching kitchens, a first-floor café, upscale dining area, cafeteria, offices and classrooms.
