JW Marriott Grand Rapids

A luxury hotel in downtown Grand Rapids, the JW Marriott aims to raise the bar. The 337-key, 24-story hotel features many luxury amenities — including a signature restaurant, destination lounge, one of the largest ballrooms in the region, a conference center, helicopter landing pad and 24-hour room service and concierge — that set it apart from others. During the peak of construction, the team raised the hotel at an average of one floor per five-day week, with glass work chasing behind them to enclose the structure before winter. The accelerated pace of construction ensured guests would be able to use the hotel — and its amenities — as soon as possible.
