When MCC wanted to update its dining facility, they saw a unique opportunity to add an educational aspect to this social common area. This 25,000-square-foot renovation not only made improvements to the dining room and entrance area, but replaced the existing production kitchen with a state-of-the-art, 17-station culinary teaching kitchen. The conversion reflects the college’s values of providing a well-rounded education by ensuring students can learn something in all facilities on campus.
