As a part of Lake Forest District 67, Deerpath Middle School underwent multiple renovations, rebuilds and upgrades to both the Haskin’s Library and science classrooms.
Haskin Library Renovations
The project included 3,985-square-feet of existing space in Haskins Library that included demolition and renovation of the ceiling, ductwork, lighting, carpet and paint. The existing classrooms in the library also underwent renovations, including a new STEM lab, Spark! Lab, design lab and collaboration room.
Science Classroom Renovations
Existing classrooms were completely gut to re-build six science labs, two preparation rooms and minor classroom upgrades. Features added to select classrooms include nine new demonstration tables with gas and air turrets.
